Marina kids soft play area now open at An Chuirt hotel Gweedore just 10 mins drive from the cottage. 3 euro for up to 4's, 6 euro for 4-12's for 1 1/2 hours play.

Got Christmas lights up outside the house and real tree up and decorated. Some pics...

There was a great fireworks display in Dunfanaghy for halloween. Started with a walk from the Ozanam centre down to the aquare with burning torches then the fireworks at the end of the pier on a lovely still night. Fireworks were really good....8 minutes non stop. Some pictures below.....

Local lobster and crab can be sourced for your stay.
In the cool, clear atlantic waters off donegal we have probably the best shellfish in the world. Please let us know 5 days beforehand as most shellfish are exported weekly to france and if there is poor weather we need to plan ahead a little to make sure you get what you want. There is a HUGE pot in the house suitable for boiling lobster. They MUST be live but if you want you can put them to sleep in the freezer for 1 hour before putting into the boiling water. There are recipies for lobster thermidor and crabcakes in the house info pack plus some of our cookbooks. ENJOY...........
